Its great that we are in a business where we get paid and have fun at the sametime.
The Client for the show (Perrrrect Kitties Creations), already had a full blown Neko show (see Perrrrfect Kitties show movie), which was totally in that theme, but wanted something different. Of course, coming to Nex-Core, we don't do 'samey' :¬), she requested a 1950's Diner setting for the show.
The 'awkward pantie shot' was my mistake, I should not have used the clip, furthermore, an angled down shot for children, makes them look more in perspective. Perhaps what would have helped, would be a body suit under the dress, more like a one peice bathing costume. Coupled with the dark skin, did emphasise the underwear more.
Glad you enjoyed the show, and your 'hopes' for a counter top runway, being forefilled :¬)

I love how this video was put together, and the whole set up looks very fun. When I first saw the diner, I was relaly hoping that the runway would be the counter, and I'm glad I wasn't let down. The addition of children avatars added a great touch, too. I think the only 'problem' I have with this show was the neko tails looked completely out of place. The lack of neko ears or any other distinctly neko features just made the models look like someone strapped a bunch of fur to their butts as a mean joke. Yes the colors coordinated, but designers really need to keep these things in mind. Also, at least one child avatar gives an awkward panty shot in the film; once more, designers should try to keep these things in mind so it's not all on the runway workers.
