Favourite in-world locations for photography?

We all have spots we love in Second Life for taking fashion photos... what are some of yours?

I've done more studio work than location, but I love The Far Away (despite it being overused), I've used the desert at Avaria, the Titanic, and Midnight City several times.

I often end up in Ten Thousand Shadows for my dark, gritty shots, as in addition to be a broken-down urban center, the creator has done really well with the lighting in the street lamps. I also often end up in Gypsy Moon and Moon Shadow. It's difficult for me to say whether these are my 'favorite', though, especially considered I just began remodeling my own sim. I had a gorgeous shoot over at the Zombie Love sim (which, unfortunately, I can't share photos of just yet), as well, but I've only been there once.

The Straylight sim is so lush and amazing for shoots requiring a more "earthy" feel.

I absolutely agree! We did a photoshoot in Emvee Cuba back in May and June, and the photos were magnificent. The sim owner was very gracious and easy to work with.

My fav place was always in and around Sky Everett's shop. Its got such amazing quality builds with the textures 2nd to none.

I did pop over to Emvee Cuba for a moment, just to peak, and it is really beautiful. Definitely a relaxed, coastal-town feel from what I quickly grabbed. Just need the appropriate look for it now. :P

Oooo i love this thread. I hope we keep it going because you can't have enough good places in which to photograph in. I am working as a model atm on a project that requires us to use locations all over SL for shots and am taking note of where we are. I'll share these too once the project is further along :-)

In the interim, try Kronbelt (The Wastelands) and Sick (Japanese sim). Walk around because there are suprises around every corner. Oh and Unforgiven Isle was great too. Good lighthouse by the water but watch out for zombies in the graveyard. I am yet to see Tempura but ppl tell me it's great. Oh one more. The Crossroads is another place with some good locations in it.
